USING THIS SERVICE

Terms of Use

These terms describe the role of the service, your responsibilities, and the limits of a self-guided wellness tool.

Last updated July 27, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using Appointment With My Anxiety (“AWMA”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. A wellness tool, not medical care

AWMA offers self-guided journaling, educational material, grounding prompts, and breathing exercises. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, crisis response, or a clinician-patient relationship. The service is not a substitute for qualified professional care. Consult an appropriate professional before making medical or treatment decisions.

Do not use AWMA for emergencies or to communicate an urgent safety concern. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or otherwise feel unsafe, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your location.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password, and activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may stop using the service at any time and may permanently delete your account from Account settings.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for your content and must not submit content that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or probe it in an abusive manner, impersonate another person, use it to harm or harass others, or use it for unlawful activity. You may not reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.

6. Our content and service

AWMA and its original design, text, software, illustrations, and branding are owned by us or used with permission. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended wellness purpose.

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Beta or experimental features may change without notice.

7. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights; respond to misuse; or comply with law. You may terminate this agreement by deleting your account. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that wellness exercises will produce a specific result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AWMA and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes, disputes, and contact

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated appropriately, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Applicable law governs these Terms without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.

Before beginning a formal dispute, please contact info@appointmentwithmyanxiety.com so we can try to resolve the concern informally.
