YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Your reflections can be deeply personal. This policy explains what the service collects, why it is needed, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are
Appointment With My Anxiety (“AWMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a self-guided wellness and journaling service. Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to info@appointmentwithmyanxiety.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication details managed by our identity provider, optional display name, and optional avatar choice.
- Wellness content: thoughts saved for a future appointment, optional voice notes, selected feelings, intensity ratings, reflections about control and reframing, grounding responses, and breathwork history.
- Settings and activity: preferred appointment time, onboarding status, display preferences, and dates on which you complete activities.
- Feedback and diagnostics: bug reports or suggestions you submit, your email address, the page involved, and limited device or error details. We do not intentionally include journal content in diagnostics.
- Operational telemetry: a deployment identifier, sanitized client/server error details, and a small allowlist of product events: onboarding completed, appointment time configured, appointment started or completed, breath exercise completed, and feedback submitted. We do not use session replay.
- Basic technical information: information ordinarily processed to deliver and secure a web service, such as IP address, browser type, request timing, and authentication session data.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure your account, save your chosen content, provide progress views and breathing exercises, respond to support requests, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, maintain the service, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal information or use sensitive wellness content for targeted advertising.
4. When information is shared
We use service providers only as needed to operate AWMA. These currently include Supabase for authentication, database, and voice-note storage; Vercel for hosting, delivery, and operational logs; and Resend for feedback email notifications. Feedback is stored in Supabase even when email delivery fails. These providers may process information under their own contractual and legal obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Voice notes and sensitive content
Voice notes and wellness entries may contain sensitive information. Voice notes are stored in a private bucket and accessed using time-limited links. Avoid including information about another person unless you have permission. AWMA is not designed for clinical records, provider-directed care, or emergency communications.
6. Retention
Active-account content is retained while your account remains open so the service can provide your saved items and history. Consumed appointment items and voice notes may remain until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Feedback and operational records may be retained for up to 24 months, or longer when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Backups may take additional time to expire through normal rotation.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update your profile and sign-in information from Account settings. You can permanently delete your account from the “Delete account” section in the app. Deletion removes your authentication account and the application data tied to it, including your profile, saved appointment items, voice notes, check-in history, and breathwork history, subject to limited records we must retain. You may also contact us to request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion where those rights apply.
8. Security
We use authentication, access controls, private storage, encrypted network connections, and provider security controls intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
9. Children
AWMA is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and remove the information.
10. International use and policy changes
Our providers may process information in countries other than where you live, subject to their applicable safeguards. We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by another appropriate method, and the updated date will appear above.
